Description

For all medication-round fills, RXFEXPSRC is a set of expenditure variables indicating the amount paid for a prescribed medicine fill by source of payment. By adding RXFEXPSRC to your data cart, you are in effect adding twelve expenditure variables covering prescribed medications. These variables include:

• RXFEXPSELF: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by self/family

• RXFEXPMC: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by Medicare

• RXFEXPMA: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by Medicaid

• RXFEXPPRI: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by private insurance

• RXFEXPVA: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by the Veteran's Administration

• RXFEXPTRI: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by TRICARE

• RXFEXPOF: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by other Federal sources

• RXFEXPOL: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by other State and local sources

• RXFEXPWC: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by Worker's Compensation

• RXFEXPOPR: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by other private sources

• RXFEXPOPU: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by other public sources

• RXFEXPOS: Amount paid for the prescribed medicine fill by other unclassified sources
