Description
For all persons given the Diabetes Care Survey (DCS) and have been told they have diabetes, DIALRNPHN indicates whether the respondent has received a telephone call to their house in the last six months to learn how to take care of their diabetes. The question does not specify whom this phone call would be from.
DIALRNPHN is one of a set of variables comprising the DCS, a supplemental, self-administered pencil-and-paper survey about how respondents treat their diabetes. For related variables and more information, please see DIACONF.
