DIALRNNPC
Respondent learned how to treat their diabetes from a doctor not in their primary care practice

Description

For all persons given the Diabetes Care Survey (DCS), have been told they have diabetes, and have indicated that they learned how to take care of their diabetes in the last 12 months, DIALRNNPC indicates whether the respondent learned to take care of their diabetes by talking to a doctor/health professional not in their primary care practice.

DIALRNNPC is one of a set of variables comprising the DCS, a supplemental, self-administered pencil-and-paper survey about how respondents treat their diabetes. For related variables and more information, please see DIACONF.
