Description

For all females ages 18 and older who have ever been diagnosed as having cancer or a malignancy of any kind (CANCEREV), CNUTER indicates if the type of cancer diagnosed was cancer of the uterus. CNUTERAG and CNUTERRMS indicate the age the individual was diagnosed with uterine cancer and whether the cancer is in remission, respectively.

This variable is not available in 2012 because MEPS suppressed any cancer types listed on the National Institutes of Health's list of clinically rare diseases. For related variables and more information about the cancer variables included in MEPS, please see CNBLAD.
