DIALRNNP
Respondent learned to treat their diabetes from an appointment with a nurse

Description

For all persons given the Diabetes Care Survey (DCS) and have been told they have diabetes, DIALRNNP indicates whether the respondent has met with a nurse in the last six months to learn how to take care of their diabetes.

DIALRNNP is one of a set of variables comprising the DCS, a supplemental, self-administered pencil-and-paper survey about how respondents treat their diabetes. For related variables and more information, please see DIACONF.
