Description
For all home health events (EVENTYPE) where the care provider works for an agency (SELFAGEN), HHPRODAYSWK indicates the number of days per week the provider came. Since an event is a month of service, HHPRODAYSWK indicates the average number of visits received per week during their month of home health care. This is one of four frequency-of-event variables used by AHRQ to construct HHDAYSMO, which indicates the total number of days per month a person received home health care from all sources for a medical condition. Frequency variables can be used to estimate a measure of the intensity of care.
