For all persons, ERPREXSRC is a set of summary expenditure variables indicating the total amount paid for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits by source of payment during the current calendar year. By adding ERPREXSRC to your data cart, you are in effect adding fourteen annual summary separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visit expenditure variables. These variables include:

• ERPREXSELF: Annual total direct health care payments made by self/family for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXMC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicare for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXMA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicaid for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXPR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXVA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by the Veterans' Administration for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by TRICARE for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXOF: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other Federal sources for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXOL: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other State and local sources for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXWC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Worker's Compensation for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXOPR: Annual total of direct health care payments from other private source for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXOPU: Annual total of direct health care payments from other public source for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXOS: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other unclassified sources for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXPTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance and TRICARE for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits

• ERPREXOTH: Annual total of direct health care payments made by all other sources for separately billed doctor expenses from emergency room visits
