Description

For all persons, AMTHEXSRC is a set of summary expenditure variables indicating the total amount paid for health care expenditures for care from ambulatory occupational and physical therapists (OT/PT) by source of payment during the current calendar year. By adding AMTHEXSRC to your data cart, you are in effect adding fourteen annual summary ambulatory OT/PT therapist expenditure variables. These variables include:

• AMTHEXSEL: Annual total direct health care payments made by self/family to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXMC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicare to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXMA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicaid to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXPR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXVA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by the Veterans' Administration to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by TRICARE to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXOF: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other Federal sources to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXOL: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other State and local sources to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXWC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Worker's Compensation to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXOPR: Annual total of direct health care payments from other private source to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXOPU: Annual total of direct health care payments from other public source to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXOS: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other unclassified sources to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXPTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance and TRICARE to ambulatory OT/PT therapists

• AMTHEXOT: Annual total of direct health care payments made by all other sources to ambulatory OT/PT therapists
