Description

For persons aged 16 and older who are in scope and have a current main job, WRKTMPRD reports if the person's current main job lasts only for a limited amount of time or until the completion of a project.

Comparability

Beginning in 2013, MEPS no longer asks if jobs are temporary (or seasonal) in each round, and instead only asks these questions if the job in the round is newly reported. A new code of "Determined in previous round" was added in 2013 to identify these cases.
