Comparability
See WAGEHRRD for information on changes to hourly wage top-codes. Despite changes in hourly wage top-codes, persons could continue to report wages in any format for all years of WAGEHRSRCRD.
Additionally, in 1996 WAGEHRSRCRD only includes persons aged 16 and older who have a current main job and are not self employed, and are eligible in rounds 1 and 2 of data collection; in subsequent years, RUSIZERD is available for persons aged 16 and older who have a current main job and are not self employed, and are inscope. Otherwise, this variable is completely comparable across time.
