Description

For veterans (ARMFEV) who received care from a VA provider in the last year (VET12MVACARE), VET12MSPCAR indicates whether the respondent received care from any VA specialist other than their VA primary care provider or Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT).

This variable is part of the Veteran Self-Administered Questionnaire (VSAQ), which was fielded in 2018 and 2019 and collected information on veterans' health conditions and health care services.
