Description

For all persons, OPPHPREXSRC is a set of summary expenditure variables indicating the total amount paid for health care expenditures for separately billed services associated with visits to outpatient physicians by source of payment during the current calendar year. By adding OPPHPREXSRC to your data cart, you are in effect adding fourteen annual summary outpatient physician separately billed services expenditure variables. These variables include:

• OPPHPREXSEL: Annual total direct health care payments made by self/family for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXMC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicare for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXMA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicaid for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXPR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXVA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by the Veterans' Administration for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by TRICARE for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXOF: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other Federal sources for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXOL: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other State and local sources for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXWC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Worker's Compensation for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXOPR: Annual total of direct health care payments from other private source for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXOPU: Annual total of direct health care payments from other public source for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXOS: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other unclassified sources for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXPTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance and TRICARE for separately billed services from outpatient physicians

• OPPHPREXOT: Annual total of direct health care payments made by all other sources for separately billed services from outpatient physicians
