For all persons, OPNPHFEXSRC is a set of summary expenditure variables indicating the total amount paid for health care expenditures for hospital facility charges associated with visits to outpatient non-physicians by source of payment during the current calendar year. By adding OPNPHFEXSRC to your data cart, you are in effect adding fourteen annual summary outpatient non-physician hospital facility charges expenditure variables. These variables include:

• OPNPHFEXSEL: Annual total direct health care payments made by self/family for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXMC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicare for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXMA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicaid for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXPR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXVA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by the Veterans' Administration for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by TRICARE for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXOF: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other Federal sources for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXOL: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other State and local sources for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXWC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Worker's Compensation for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXOPR: Annual total of direct health care payments from other private source for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXOPU: Annual total of direct health care payments from other public source for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXOS: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other unclassified sources for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXPTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance and TRICARE for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians

• OPNPHFEXOT: Annual total of direct health care payments made by all other sources for hospital facility charges from outpatient non-physicians
