For all persons, OBNPHEXSRC is a set of summary expenditure variables indicating the total amount paid for health care expenditures for care from office-based non-physicians by source of payment during the current calendar year. By adding OBNPHEXSRC to your data cart, you are in effect adding fourteen annual summary office-based non-physician expenditure variables. These variables include:

• OBNPHEXSEL: Annual total direct health care payments made by self/family to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXMC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicare to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXMA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicaid to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXPR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXVA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by the Veterans' Administration to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by TRICARE to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXOF: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other Federal sources to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXOL: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other State and local sources to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXWC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Worker's Compensation to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXOPR: Annual total of direct health care payments from other private source to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXOPU: Annual total of direct health care payments from other public source to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXOS: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other unclassified sources to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXPTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance and TRICARE to office-based non-physicians

• OBNPHEXOT: Annual total of direct health care payments made by all other sources to office-based non-physicians
