Description
For all persons, HHAGEXOL captures the sum of direct payments made by other State and local government sources for home health care received from agencies, hospitals, or nursing homes during the year. This includes payments from community and neighborhood clinics, State and local health departments, and State programs other than Medicaid. Payments for over-the-counter drugs and indirect payments not related to specific medical events, such as Medicaid Disproportionate Share and Medicare Direct Medical Education subsidies, are not included in this amount.
