Description

FAMINSCOPE reports if the respondent was inscope for the survey on 12/31 of the survey year, and therefore part of a MEPS family on 12/31 of the survey year. A person is considered inscope if he or she a member of a MEPS household, and is a member of the U.S. civilian, noninstitutionalized population.
