Description
For persons aged 16 and older who are in scope and have a current main job, EMPFLGRD indicates the round in which employment data were originally collected. AHRQ replicates job information forward for employment variables for persons in their second year of the survey (relative year 2 of the panel) whose current main job is the same job reported in an earlier round.
A small number of cases report a current main job that is continued from an earlier round, but the corresponding round record does not exist or does not match the current main job; these are coded as "6: continuation of previous round, missing data". Corrections made to a person's current file may not be reflected in earlier rounds of data (e.g., relative year 1), so their relative year 2 data are assigned a unique value.
