Description
For persons aged 16 and older who are in scope and have a current main job as a wage earner (e.g., not self-employed) or who are self-employed and have at least one other employee, EHIOFFRRD reports if the person was offered health insurance through their current main job. AHRQ edits persons who reported holding insurance through their current main job to respond "yes" to EHIOFFRD if they did not answer "yes" originally.

Comparability
In 1996, EHIOFFRRD only includes persons aged 16 and older with a continuing current main job (i.e., from a previous round) as wage earners (e.g., NOT self-employed) who are eligible in rounds 1 and 2 of data collection; in subsequent years, EHIOFFRRD is available for all persons aged 16 and older who have a continuing current main job as a wage earner. Otherwise, this variable is completely comparable across time.
