For all persons, DVOEXSRC is a set of summary expenditure variables indicating the total amount paid for orthodontic care expenditures by source of payment during the current calendar year. By adding DVOEXSRC to your data cart, you are in effect adding fourteen annual summary orthodontic care expenditure variables. These variables include:

• DVOEXSELF: Annual total direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by self/family

• DVOEXMC: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by Medicare

• DVOEXMA: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by Medicaid

• DVOEXPR: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by private insurance

• DVOEXVA: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by the Veterans' Administration

• DVOEXTR: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by TRICARE

• DVOEXOF: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by other Federal sources

• DVOEXOL: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by other State and local sources

• DVOEXWC: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by Worker's Compensation

• DVOEXOPR: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care from other private source

• DVOEXOPU: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care from other public source

• DVOEXOS: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by other unclassified sources

• DVOEXPTR: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by private insurance and TRICARE

• DVOEXOTH: Annual total of direct health care payments for orthodontic care made by all other sources
