Description

For all dental visits (EVENTYPE = 5), DENTRADIOX indicates if the visit included x-rays, radiographs, or bitewings. DENTRADIOX is the edited version of DENTRADIO; values for DENTRADIOX and DENTRADIO are identical except for cases where the value of DENTRADIOX was updated to reflect information about services received at the dental visit reported in DENTOTH.

DENTRADIOX is one of a set of dental visit variables reporting the type of dental provider seen, the dental services received, and the total expenditures overall and by payment source associated with each dental visit.
