Description

For all dental visits (EVENTYPE = 5), DENTIMPLNTX indicates if the visit included implants. DENTIMPLNTX is the edited version of DENTIMPLNT; values for DENTIMPLNTX and DENTIMPLNT are identical except for cases where the value of DENTIMPLNTX was updated to reflect information about services received at the dental visit reported in DENTOTH.

DENTIMPLNTX is one of a set of dental visit variables reporting the type of dental provider seen, the dental services received, and the total expenditures overall and by payment source associated with each dental visit.
