Description

For all persons, AMPAEXSRC is a set of summary expenditure variables indicating the total amount paid to ambulatory physician assistants by source of payment during the current calendar year. By adding AMPAEXSRC to your data cart, you are in effect adding fourteen annual summary ambulatory physician assistant expenditure variables. These variables include:

• AMPAEXSEL: Annual total direct health care payments made by self/family to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXMC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicare to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXMA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Medicaid to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXPR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXVA: Annual total of direct health care payments made by the Veterans' Administration to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by TRICARE to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXOF: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other Federal sources to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXOL: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other State and local sources to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXWC: Annual total of direct health care payments made by Worker's Compensation to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXOPR: Annual total of direct health care payments from other private source to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXOPU: Annual total of direct health care payments from other public source to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXOS: Annual total of direct health care payments made by other unclassified sources to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXPTR: Annual total of direct health care payments made by private insurance and TRICARE to ambulatory physician assistants

• AMPAEXOT: Annual total of direct health care payments made by all other sources to ambulatory physician assistants
