Description

For all dental visits (EVENTYPE = 5), DENTFLRDX indicates if the visit included fluoride treatment. DENTFLRDX is the edited version of DENTFLRD; values for DENTFLRDX and DENTFLRD are identical except for cases where the value of DENTFLRDX was updated to reflect information about services received at the dental visit reported in DENTOTH.

DENTFLRDX is one of a set of dental visit variables reporting the type of dental provider seen, the dental services received, and the total expenditures overall and by payment source associated with each dental visit.
