Description

For all persons, OBPAEXOL captures the sum of direct payments made by other State and local government sources for medical care delivered by office-based physician assistants, including community and neighborhood clinics, State and local health departments, and State programs other than Medicaid. Payments for over-the-counter drugs and indirect payments not related to specific medical events, such as Medicaid Disproportionate Share and Medicare Direct Medical Education subsidies, are not included in this amount.
