For persons aged 16 and older who are in scope and who have a current main job, ENDHRJOBRD reports their usual work end time using a 24-hour clock. Persons whose schedule consistently varies are assigned a unique code.

In 1996, ENDHRJOBRD only includes persons aged 16 and older with a current main job who are eligible in rounds 1 and 2 of data collection; in subsequent years, ENDHRJOBRD is available for all persons aged 16 and older who have a current main job. Otherwise, this variable is completely comparable across time.
Universe
- 1996: Persons aged 16 and older who have a current main job, and who are eligible (ELIGRD = 4) and in rounds 1 or 2 of data collection.
- 1997-2000: Persons aged 16 and older who are in scope and have a current main job.
